Maryland

We packed a lot of fun things into our time in Maryland. Daddy took us on a little hike through the woods that ended up at the river. The kids had fun trying to skip some rocks into the river just like Daddy. This was the beginning of Ellie's huge collection of rocks/shells she brought home with her. She certainly loves finding treasures. We discovered that as prissy as she is...she is still down to get dirty and explore nature.

Mommom, Ellie and I got dressed up to go watch Lulu perform in a musical. It was called, "Once upon a Mattress". Lulu did a great job and it was fun for Ellie to look for her big cousin up on the stage. She fell asleep towards the end of the performance so unfortunately we didn't end up get any pictures with Lulu after the show.

Ellie and Patchy always have fun exploring new parks.

Just a short walk from Poppy's house there is a small beach area that we walked to one evening. It was fun for the kids to splash and play in the water for a bit.

We went to the Brandywine Zoo in Wilmington, Delaware one afternoon with Lexi. It was just a small little zoo but it was so beautiful. There was so much green landscaping and that sure is something we don't get to see at our zoo at home!

We had a delicious cook out at Uncle Jeff and Aunt Jen's house. The kids had fun running around and playing in their beautiful yard. Elise loved going up to Lulu's big room. She had a couple sleepovers at Lulu's house while we were there.

Mommom treated Ellie and I to a pedicure. It was Ellie's first pedicure. It will be something special she can do with her Mommom.

We also went to the Plumpton Zoo. It was a neat little zoo and was very interactive. Ellie and Patchy were able to feed a lot of the animals. We saw some baby bears wrestling. Patchy was pretty amazed at everything, like usual

We ended pretty much every day with a bath and some snuggle time on the couch with Mommom. They needed a good scrub down after all the outdoors and bouncing each day.
