January Moments

Flagstaff Part 2

Since Karen had the timeshare for the entire week and couldn't use it, Angie and I decided to take the kids back to Flagstaff for a short get away. It was pure chaos but very fun and definitely worth it. Angie and I packed all 5 kids into the minivan and made our way up the hill. The road trip there and home actually went pretty well. The kids all got a donut to start us off. About 20 minutes away from Flag, Mikey threw up in the van because being car sick. Poor kiddo. That was the only bummer of the trip. Once we got to Flag the kids really took advantage of the snow that was there. They were having so much fun not even realizing how much more snow there could have been. Ellie and Mia made a 'to do' list for what they wanted to do in the snow. It included a snowball fight, making snow angels, sledding, and building a snowman. They did it all followed by some fun in the hot Jacuzzi and a movie night.

Flagstaff Part 1

We headed to Flagstaff to meet Karen, Cannon and Chloe for some fun in the snow and to ride on the Polar Express. It hadn't snowed since before Christmas so the snow was kind of old and icy but it was still a lot of fun. The kids enjoyed sledding down a little bumpy and icy hill right outside the condo where we stayed. I can't imagine what they would do if it had recently snowed and we were able to take them to one of the snow hills in Flagstaff. Maybe next year! Thanks to Karen for letting us take advantage of her timeshare. It was a beautiful place with a jacuzzi out on the deck. The kids had so much fun hanging out with their big cousins, Cannon and Chloe.
