First Day of "Preschool"
Elise had her first day at preschool last week. Three of my friends and I decided to try a preschool co-op since the kids have Fall birthdays and are a little too young for preschool right now. We are calling it Little Explorers. We will take turns holding preschool at the different houses on Tuesday mornings. I was a little worried to drop her off because we are always always together. The day before, we went to the store and picked out a first day of school outfit and backpack. She was very excited about Little Explorers all the way up until we were walking up to Mrs. Tasia's house. She wanted me to stay and had some tears but it turns out as soon as the mommies left...everyone was just fine. I think this will be a good thing for her. She was so happy when I picked her up and said she wanted to go to Little Explorers again the next day. She thinks she is such a big girl!
Flagstaff
We drove up to Flagstaff for the weekend to get out of the heat. The Caruso's came up and rented the house with us. Grandma, Grandpa, and Papa Nono came for one night and stayed in a nearby hotel. The house we rented was perfect for our families. It was filled with fun toys, movies, high chairs, and a crib. We spent a lot of time going to parks and outside of the house either in the front or back. The front had a nice steep driveway that was a perfect ramp for Mikey to send his toy cars down. Ellie had fun riding her balance bike up and down the street and Mia loved running back and forth in the cul de sac. The backyard opened up to a nice little hiking path. We had a great BBQ and celebrated Mia's 4th birthday one night. We were all so happy to be in cooler weather and it was perfect. Greg got to go out on a few mountain biking adventures with friends. It was a wonderful weekend!

10 months
Patrick,
You are ten months old! You are such a little sugar pie. You still love to cuddle, especially when you are just waking up. You are a very easy going guy during the day but at night you are waking up a bunch. It is hard for me to wake up but once I get in there to feed you, I just grab your soft little foot and think about how you are getting big so fast and the waking up part doesn't seem so bad anymore. I will be excited when you sleep through the night though! I think part of the reason why you wake up so much is because you are cutting teeth like a champ. You got your two top teeth this month so now you have four total.
You are pretty mellow and a very happy little guy. You can entertain yourself in the playroom for long periods of time. You love to eat. You pretty much eat anything and everything. You like to play with your sis a lot during the day. Nobody can make you cry or make you laugh faster than she can. You are interested in whatever she has at the moment so we can already see a little sibling rivalry. You are cruising around on furniture and walking with your toys. You like music and bounce up and down to different songs. It is amazing how you are already such a little boy. You love cars and pushing them around on the floor. You like balls and banging on things. Like the picture below shows, you like to bang things on your head. Silly boy! We love you soooooo!

Some More Cousin Lovin
Ellie and Patrick,You were so happy to get home and reunite with your Caruso cousins. We had to quickly soak up a lot of time with them before Mia & Mikey started school again. Patrick, you and Joey are starting to interact a lot more. You point at each other and try to grab each others hands. We all love how you smile at each other. Ellie, you continue to love Mia to pieces. You two are so funny together. We sure do get a kick out of your conversations. You and Mikey are even getting along better these days although you still know how to push each others buttons. Here are some fun pictures from a day at the Phoenix Children's Museum.
