Elise was baptised on Sunday at Holy Spirit Church. Deacon Steve performed the baptism. It was a wonderful ceremony and blessing. Elise did great. She did show her fiesty personality and gave out some loud yells when she was being "bath-a-tized" (as Cannon would call it). After church we went over to Grandma and Grandpa's for a celebration. Thank you to Mom Mom and Poppy for sending us the delicious food! It was wonderful.

More Food
We started feeding Elise some veggies last week.
First we tried carrots and then a few days later we tried avodcado.
If you look at all of her rolls, you would assume she is a good eater.
Nope.
I am not sure she is eating any of it. I don't think she likes it. I think she likes playing with it.
She prefers her milk.

1st night away from home
This weekend my daddy had a mountain bike race up in Prescott. We left on Friday and didn't get home until Saturday. It was the longest car ride of my life!
I slept for pretty much the entire drive. There was a few minutes that I woke up to chew on my giraffe and make some loud noises just so mom and dad remembered I was there. But then I went back to sleep again. Prescott was nice and cool when we got there. It sure is beautiful up there. After we arrived, we had a nice dinner with our friends Mark and Colleen and then we went back to the hotel so daddy could get some sleep for his big ride. This was the first time I wasn't at my house to go to bed. I think mom and dad were pretty worried about this but I slept just fine in the hotel.
In the morning, mommy and I played around on the grass while daddy did the Whiskey Off Road 25 mile mountain bike race. He did great! He beat his time from last year by a lot.
Way to go daddy.
You made me proud AGAIN!
You made me proud AGAIN!
Thumb or Binkie????
We are a little excited about this!
For now, it looks like the binkie wins but we are hoping ....

Sparky
I finally got to meet Sparky. I have been seeing him at all the games this year but never got the chance to meet him. It happened last week and he even held me. Here is the proof.....

Our Girl
She is so much fun right now. All smiles. How can you not just love being a parent when you get to see this face all the time.
It is the best
Easter
This year on Easter we decided to go for a little hike to enjoy the beautiful weather. I think we will make it a Trone Easter tradition. The desert flowers are in bloom and after all the rain we had this year....the desert is GREEN! Pretty amazing. Elise does great in the backpack. Her little legs sticking out are so cute. As always, when she is outside she is Little Miss Serious looking around and trying to take everything in. On the way down she conked right out...must of been a hard hike for our little baby.

Good News/Bad News
I'll give you the good news first...
Auntie Em and Dave came to visit me! They are on thier Spring Break now and drove all the way from Denver. They are taking a big road trip through Arizona, New Mexico and Texas before they go home. I certainly loved having them here. They even babysat me for a few hours while mommy went to the doctor! I got to touch Dave's scruffy face and then Emilie's soft face, it was so interesting! Dave climbed up 4 peaks in one morning, Emile ran 10 miles and then took me for a walk in the Bjorn. They are pretty impressive!
Now for the Bad News...
See the smiles on their faces? Well, those smiles didn't stay for too long. I got them both sick! I also got mommy and daddy sick! It was the first time I have ever been sick in my whole life. I was throwing up lots. We thought I was better and not contagious anymore but I have a feeling Auntie Em and Dave got sick the minute they walked in our door. That might have been all it takes because apparently this is a big bad contagious stomach bug. Auntie Angie, Uncle Mike, Mia and Grandma even had the big bad bug!
Thankfully after a night of being sick and staying a little extra with us, Em and Dave got back on the road and continued on their way. Mommy tells me that Auntie Em said they are still having fun on thier adventure.
Thank Goodness!
