Cheers for Cannon and Chloe!

Yesterday Elise had a day full of softball and baseball. Cannon and Chloe had thier first baseball games of the season.  We went to both because we didn't want to miss out on any of the excitment. Elise was a great little baby and enjoyed rolling around on her blanket and playing with the grass.  Her cousins, Cannon and Chloe, both did great at thier games. Cannon was the starting pitcher and had many strike outs! He also stole a a few bases! Chloe did great playing 3rd base and she got a few hits!

Way to go guys!

Spring Break

My mom and dad just had Spring Break. A break for them means fun for me!  Here are some highlights of my very first Spring Break!

Teething

Elise is chewing on her giraffe. She loves that thing.... although it continues to make her gag!

Bethany Strikes Again

My friend Bethany, who is a wonderful photographer took some beautiful pictures of Elise yesterday.  Let me tell you, Elise was not in a good mood. We were trying to make her sit up and pose and all she wanted to do was look around, observe, eat the flowers, and take everything in since she was outside at the park.  Despite her "grumpiness" Bethany was still able to get the most beautiful pictures.  She has pure talent!

Food!

When we took Elise for her 4 month check up a few weeks ago, Dr. Richardson told us to get ready to start feeding her solids. We decided he was right when we began noticing how much she was staring at us and licking her chops while we were eating.

Sometimes she would even make big attempts to lean and grab the food on our plate.

Today was the exciting day...

Elise had her first taste of rice cereal.

She doesn't get mad very often....but she sure is cute when she does!

Exploring

Elise has been very busy lately exploring like a 4 month baby should.

At 4 months she is making lots of noises.

She definitley has learned how to giggle and yell.

She grabs everything and puts it in her mouth if she can.

Even if its her little buddy RJ's hand.

She can't get enough of that baby in the mirror...she wants to eat her too!

She enjoys when Sofia reads her a good book!

She is beginning all the pre-crawling motions.

It looks like she is swimming on her belly.

She has even gotten her little knees under her body with her booty in the air.

Now that she is grabbing everything,

the exersaucer and jumperoo are getting to be even more fun!

Baby Yoga

She is hoping these poses impress cousin Carrie the yoga teacher at Inside the Bungalow.
