Swim Lessons

Elise had her first round of swim lessons over the past few weeks.  She seemed to like them a lot at the start of each lesson, but near the end should would always say "all done" and motion to get out of the pool.   They were pretty basic water acclimation lessons.  She did very good at monkey crawling along the sides, jumping in and climbing out.  She needs a little work on blowing bubbles. Right now, she just likes to lick the water and give it kisses.

The McKinley Visit

We haven't seen Sheila, Caleb and Lucy since August so we were thrilled when they decided to come out for Memorial Day weekend. We had a great weekend hanging out with our college pals and catching up.  It was tons of fun to watch the little ones interacting and having fun together.  Ellie, Lucy and RJ went to a Gymboree play gym and then a coffee shop that has a cool play room so the moms could chat and catch up. We took Lucy to her first splash pad.  We also went a few BBQ's spent with good friends, food, swimming, jumping on the trampoline, and lots and lots of running around.  Unfortunately, near the end of the trip poor little Lucy got sick so the last day was spent relaxing at home and recuperating from the weekend.
