Cousin Lovin

There was a lot of cousin lovin going on this November.
Here are some favorite pictures of the cousins together.
Chloe is so nice to read to the girls. Cannon is always playing with them. They are such great big cousins to the little ones.

Elise loves her cousin Mikey. Especially since it is so easy to steal his binky.
Here is Ellie and Mia having a snuggle while watching Dora the Explorer.
Some exciting adventures at the zoo
Some more exciting adventures at Grandma's. They are always in a party tutu at grandmas house. Mia runs to the back room and grabs one for her and one for Ellie.
Ellie started saying "Mia" this week. One night when giving her a bath I told her we were going to see Mia the next day.  She instantly climbed out of the bath calling "Mia Mia Mia" looking around. When we are out and about and she sees a little girl she starts to call "Mia!"  It is pretty cute. She loves her Mia.

Thanksgiving

We had a great Thanksgiving over at Grandpa and Grandma's house. The whole gang came over. It is so nice to spend the day relaxing and being together. The weather was beautiful so the kids were able to play and run around outside. After dinner and a little playing, Mia and Ellie knew exactly where to go.... inside to Grandma for dessert!  Ellie had fun feeding Grandma the pie until she finally got a nibble herself and then she didn't miss a bite.  Except for the pie all over her face, she nearly at the whole piece.
This Thanksgiving I think Ellie was most thankful for pumpkin pie.

Master of the Slide

One of Elise's favorite things to do is play with her new slide that Mommom and Poppy got her for her birthday. This slide has been hours of endless entertainment for Elise... and us! She started by using it as a climbing tool. Now she can maneuver herself to sliding position and goes down all by herself. What a blast. She goes down in a pillow case and different things to make her go fast.
She is loving it...she is fearless

M&Ms

Can you believe this mess came from 2 M&M's?
1 Green and 1 Blue
I think the only Halloween candy we let Elise eat was a few M&M's after dinner one night.
We created a monster.
She threw a fit when we wouldn't give her anymore. She looked at us like we were crazy if we thought she would think they were all gone just because we put them away. We are pretty open to letting Elise have sweets. Why not? They are delicious and of course she loves them. But, I had never seen Elise so serious about eating something as she was about eating her M&M's.
Well maybe not until yesturday when Daddy gave her bites of a chocolate chip cookie.

We Love Bethany!

Bethany has been taking pictures of us since Elise was in my belly. We got together with her a few weeks ago for her to take some pictures of Elise around her first birthday. She got some great family shots.
We love love love them.
Here are a few of our favorites.

Thanks again Bethany for taking great pics throughout Elise's 1st year!
