Quinn's Baptism
Quinn was baptized this weekend in a beautiful ceremony. Uncle Mike and Kelley are her Godparents. It was so wonderful that Kelley was able to fly into town for a quick trip and be here for the occasion. The baptism was really neat and the priest did a great job including all of the cousins in the ceremony.

Rain!!!
We had a lot of rain in the desert on a couple occasions in September. The first big rain caused lots of flooding in areas of the valley. Schools were cancelled! Including CGCC where Greg works. We had a really fun day staying around home and letting the kids play in the water. Later in the evening when we were driving home from gymnastics, Ellie noticed how our park was now a lake and there were people swimming out there. Some people had rafts and tubes. We called it Lake Shumway. After dinner we walked down there and let the kids play in there a bit. Greg was a sport and went in with them. We went home and right into the bath because the water was disgusting but it was sure fun. 2 Weeks later it happened again but not quite as much. I had to go get Kelley from the airport and it was pouring rain and streets were flooding. When I got to the airport, Kelley texted that she was in Tucson! They had to divert the plane because of the weather here. It made her quick trip even shorter. We sure needed the rain though, it hadn't rained here in months!

Quinn and her Boys
Every other Tuesday we have cousin Tuesday. We head up to the Caruso's house and I hang out with Quinn and the boys while Auntie Angie takes Mia and Ellie to Daisy's. I love this time with the boys and Quinn. She has a blast watching the Bobos run all around the house. When the girls get home we make dinner and hang out for a bit before we head home.

6 Month Quinn
Quinn you are six months old! You love your tongue. You barely smile or laugh without that tongue poking out. You are almost crawling which is crazy. Slowwwww down. You are our last baby, you aren't supposed to be moving along so fast! You are a great eater and just like your brother at this age, I can't feed you fast enough. I started giving you Cheerios a little early just to distract you a bit while you are in your chair and you do pretty well with them. You used to be the best sleeper but you aren't doing so well anymore. It is probably because you just had your first sickness. You had an ear infection and the croup. Poor baby. You are waking up a ton in the night and taking short little cat naps throughout the day. I spend a lot of time trying to get you to nap and Ellie and Patchy are getting a hang of that and the other day they snuck out of the house! They got in big trouble for that. They said they were trying to go to our next door neighbor's house to learn Spanish?!?! You are a very serious baby. It is hard to get you to crack a smile but when you do it lights up your face. Most of the time it seems as though you are really thinking about everything and taking it all in. You still have your blue eyes and they are beautiful. You like to try to sing along with the church music or with Ellie when she is singing at home. Patchy loves his baby sister so much. He is constantly in your space. You light up whenever Ellie gives you attention. It is usually her goal to get you to smile and laugh. We love you so much!!!
