Feeding Quinn

We gave Quinn her first taste of solids a few days ago and she sure does love it. Ellie and Patrick couldn't wait to feed Quinn food. They took turns feeding her which could have been hard for her first time, but she scarfed it right down. They weren't giving it to her fast enough and she would get upset in between. We also tried sweet potatoes and they were a hit, too!

 

Carlsbad

We took a quick trip to the beach before daddy had to go back to work. Grandma came with us so it was extra special. We had such a wonderful time. I am so glad we did it. The hotel we stayed at had the best pool with a view of the ocean and the sunset each evening. We spent some time with Sheila and her kiddos one day at the beach and then again for a nice birthday dinner outside at the hotel pool. We can't wait to meet her newest baby next year! Ellie, Patrick and Quinn loved the beach. The waves were pretty strong so it was a little nerve wracking but they were pretty good staying close to us. Quinn was such a good little trooper hanging out in the shade and dipping her toes in the sand and ocean from time to time.sportbrella and a big shade tent. Grandma was so much help with Quinn. Patchy and Ellie loved playing in the sand with grandma. We all loved watching Grandma boogie board! Thanks for the trip, Daddy and thank you Grandma for coming with us. We loved it!!
