Kindergarten

Ellie is off to kindergarten!!! She was so excited to go back to school shopping for clothes and supplies, and go to see her new school for the first time. Grandma watched Patchy and Quinnie so we could go meet her teacher, Mrs. Lawson a few days ago. We loved her. She seemed to be warm, kind and fun! Today was Ellie's first day and she was so excited, we couldn't help but be so happy for her. She loved it and we celebrated by going out to our favorite froyo place, TasteBuds. A little piece of our hearts are broken because she is off to school and we know how quickly the years go by. But, we are more excited for all the fun, friends and adventures she will have at school.

Keystone

We met the Richards family for one last mountain trip before we headed back to Arizona. The dads watched a mountain bike event while all the kids and moms mini golfed, hiked around some trails and ate lunch by the river. Holly took some great photos of the kids. 

Breckenridge

We spent almost half of our time up in Breckenridge this summer. It was so beautiful and we all really loved it up there. We spent our days walking to the parks, exploring hiking trails, walking to downtown, mountain biking, ice skating, riding the gondolas, going to a bike festival, hot tubbing, throwing rocks in the river, playing at the pump tracks and children's museums, watching a 4th of July parade and eating out at fun places. Being up in the mountains is really a true break from the heat of the AZ summer. The weather was amazing. We had a fun few days with the Richard's family before they left town. Emilie and Sofia even ventured up for a day to spend some time up in the mountains with us. This was our favorite part of our Colorado vacation!
