End of the Year Celebrations

Ellie's teacher, Mrs. Lawson, really liked to party. She had some fun festivities to wrap up the school year. The last few weeks of May the students pretended like they were at camp and did some really fun activities to wrap up the year. I was invited to come in for a Mother's Day tea where she showed a slide show of the year and the kids sang us songs that made us cry. Another fun celebration on the very last day of school was a luau and at the end of the day Mrs. Lawson sprinkled each student with first grade glitter and sent them on the way. She was such the perfect teacher for Elise. I love how she let them shine bright. She liked to party, provided many opportunities for creativity and dress up and the kids learned so much. We will miss her as she moved off to Florida!

Kindergarten Graduation

Eduprize really makes a big deal out of Kindergarten graduations. The kids performed and were recognized during the last cottage fair of the year. They had class shirts made and each student was given a fancy diploma with their graduation picture.

 

End of Preschool

Patchy had a wonderful first year of preschool at Desert Sun. They gave him so many cool experiences to learn and play with friends. Some of his best buddies this year were Landon, Sydney and Wyatt. We will always be thankful for Teacher Linda, Teacher Laurie and Cutie the class guinnea pig. I'm so happy that Patchy still has one more year left at Desert Sun for preK. He grew up so much this year!!
