Superbowl Adventures

Grandma took Patrick on the light rail for a downtown to the NFL Expeirence the week of the Superbowl. I am sure it was a bit overwhelming for Patchy. Grandma said he was very quiet. He told us all about it when he got home though. He had fun with Grandma!

Ellie had her own Superbowl adventure. Daddy took her to a Fan Fest at Rawhide because the star of Ellie's favorite show, Jessie, was there. It was so neat that she was able to meet one of her favorite stars!

Speaking of football. The kids have been getting really into the sport lately. Patrick loves putting on his helmet or his Sparky jammies and plays on his carpet in his bedroom. They have also been running around outside playing football.

10 months

10 Month Quinn is getting to be so much fun. We love this little sweet thing. She is waving all the time, except she waves backwards with her palm to her face. She takes her waving very seriously. She has started to clap whenever people say, YAY. She can blow a kiss and do peek a boo but she gets them confused. So, if you tell her to do peek a boo, she blows a kiss. She is starting to walk, but it is on her own terms. I will look over at her playing and she will get up and start walking across the room. But, if we want her to walk back and forth between us, she gets too excited and tries to go too fast and falls. She has her two bottom teeth and the top two are starting to poke through. She loves reading peek a boo books and she gives the characters on the book kisses. She gives kisses with a big open mouth like she is going to bite you. She loves Grandma's dog, Teddy. He was born a few weeks after her so it will be fun watching those two grow up together. =) When we go to open gym, Quinn gets spoiled with attention by the coaches and some of Ellie's little friends. They call her 'smiley' because she never smiled. They all try to be the one to get her to smile. Quinn will crawl up to the trampoline and lay down on her back while the girls jump so Quinn bounces up and down. That really gets her to smile and chuckle. She loves eating all sorts of food and has already had much more to taste than any other 10 month old probably ever should. We are having so much fun watching her grow.

Roller Skating

We went to Mia's school's party at Skateland. Patchy felt so cool being out there with no helper to hold on to. His had training skates on and was walking all around the place looking at the girls struggling and falling and going right on past them. Ellie and Mia were having so much fun going round and round together. Mikey was hopping on the skate helper and I was rolling him around the rink and JoJo didn't want to skate at all. Ellie needed the skate helper a lot at the beginning but by the end of the night, Natalie had her skating on her own. She loves Skateland and is already planning her birthday party there. 10 month countdown. It was a Frozen themed night so we were able to skate with Ana, Elsa and Olaf. Lucky kiddos!
