1st gymnastics meet
Ellie,
You had your first gymnastics meet. It was called the Jammie Jam invitational and it was put on by the ASU boys gymnastics club. Your team all had matching pajamas and it was very cute. You were sooooooo excited to compete. You loved performing for the crowd. You are supposed to remain calm and composed and walk around like a gymnast all tight and proper. You can't quite contain your excitement so you walk with a bounce and swing your arms all around. You were the littlest one out there and probably the one with the most enthusiasm! You are surely a crowd pleaser and fun to watch. We were lucky enough to get some of these free professional shots from the meet photographer. You did a great job out there. You have been working hard to memorize your routines. You did it! You didn't fall off the beam or bars. You even got an all around medal and a medal on the bars. Way to go Ellie! We are proud of you.

18 Months
Quinnie,
You are 18 months old. When I asked Patchy and Ellie to describe you at this age they both said, "naughty". Ellie also said you were cute and funny. You are all of those things. You love making people laugh. If you do something that makes someone laugh then you perk right up and do it again and again. You act like you are so cool. You love to take things from Ellie and Patchy and make them chase you. You are really fast! You run down the hall and get your little legs going with a big smile on your face. You are talking a lot more. You love to say NNNNNNNNNNO when I am driving and you yell it over and over trying to make the nnn sound as long as possible. You also say MAMA MAMA over and over again. It is like you don't know how to sit in the car and just be quiet. You have been saying Lala for Ellie and Chee for Patchy. You can also say I'm hungry. You love your cousin JoJo. You two are kindred spirits and have a lot of fun together. You have endless energy and are constantly on the move. You don't really walk anywhere, you are always running. But, when it is time to go to sleep, you are awesome. You read a book or two with and us go right into your crib easily. You don't even want to sit and snuggle first, which is a bummer. You are a riot at open gym and those ladies love you. You run on the tramp, jump on the pit and hang on the bar and do it over and over again. When I ask you if you want to go to Grandma's house then you flap your arms like you are swimming. You love the pool more than any little kiddo I have ever seen. You also really like watching airplanes go through the sky. You like getting your toes painted and you will actually sit still while I paint them and let them dry. You certainly like to be in the middle of whatever action is going on around the house. If I'm working with Ellie on the homework, you are right up there sitting on her paper or taking her pencil and biting the eraser.
You have a bit of a temper. You play on the Ipad and if it isn't doing something you want it to do you will either throw it or hit whoever is closest on the head with it and that hurts. You hit when you are mad. You are rough. After you hit someone you usually go back to try to show them gentle hands while you pet them. I don't know why you have to hit them first. If someone is sad you give them a hug and blow a kiss. You are beginning to start taking care of your baby dolls and walk around with them in the stroller.
You still put everything in your mouth. You love to eat lipstick. You love to eats beads that Ellie uses for bracelets and necklaces and we often find them in your poop. You love your mimis although if we tell you to put them in your crib you do it. You are a messy eater. You are tired of your high chair and want to sit in the stools by the big kids, or you climb on the counters. If you don't like something, you will throw it. If you have some sort of soft food, it is always all over your hair. Your hair is pretty much always crusty with dried food in it. You are basically a little animal that walks around the house, makes messes and loud noises and gets angry at the silliest things. You do make us laugh and we all love you so very much!!

Patchy T Ball
Patchy has started T ball. Despite being quite hot, he seems to really enjoy it. He understands how to run the bases and stays pretty alert out there on the field. He looks so cute in his Tiger's uniform. They are so big. He seems to be loving T Ball. He has a few good buddies on the team. Go Tigers!
