last zoo trip
We squeezed in one last trip to the zoo before it gets too hot with Riley's family. It was already too hot! They splashed in the splash pad and we went around and saw quite a bit of animals. Ellie was having fun taking pictures and videos of all of the animals. Quinn had her last handfuls of sand from the playground. I'm hoping by the time we can go play outside again, this phase is over!

Ears Pierced!!
Ellie, Grandma, Quinn and I took a trip to the mall to get Ellie's ears pierced. I had told her a while back that she could do it whenever she was ready and she decided that it was time. It was a fun way to celebrate the end of her preschool years! She said it didn't hurt too bad but that it did hurt more than she thought it would.

Last Days of Preschool
We were able to go in for an hour during the last week for an open house so she could show us what she did during school and their class could perform a song.
Ellie was surprisingly sad to see preschool come to an end. She said that she just knows that it isn't ever going to be like this again. She is going to a different school from her friends and I think it is setting in. She had a few tears on the way to school on her last day and her teacher said she cried a few times. We had a fun little ice cream party with her friends right after the last day of school.
Mrs. Knapik, Mrs. Gaebler and Shumway gave Ellie an awesome year of preschool. She made great friends and created many wonderful memories.

Tee Ball
Ellie played her first season of tee ball. Her daddy was the coach! Ellie loved having practices. For the first few weeks when there were only practices, she had a blast. Daddy kept them moving along so practices were fun and exciting. All the other parents loved watching her because she is so goofy. Once the games began, Ellie's T-Ball career and fun personality went downhill fast. It was very hot and 'boring'. She had a hard time making it through games, especially when they had a double header! Overall it was a fun season, especially with Daddy as the coach and all the fun treats at the end of the games.
