July Moments

July has been a fun month. We are trying to keep as busy as possible to get through our hot summer. Thank goodness we are already half way there! Daddy has been very busy working on the house. While he is working hard at the house, Elise and Mommy go out and have tons of fun to get out of his hair. Thanks Daddy, we love you!
Here are some of our favorite July moments.

Pink Towel

Elise has a new obsession...her pink towel.
She will not get out of the bath or shower unless we are going to use the pink towel. When we wash her hands and face after we eat, she says, "brrr...cold...pink towel" and will go get it. The other day, I walked her to the park after dinner and she insisted on wearing her pink towel the entire time. It didn't matter that it was over 100 degrees out.
Crazy nut.

Never ending fun!

Here are some more examples of how entertaining the pool and slide can be. Thanks Mommom and Poppy...I bet you never guessed how much fun the slide could be. =)

Not just for swimming

One night we thought Elise was extra sleepy so we attempted to put her to bed early. Boy were we wrong. She is usually a very good sleeper so after we heard some fun and excitement coming out of her room, we let her out to play some more.
She was having a blast with her swimming pool and her Daddy.
I am pretty sure she crashed hard after this!

4th of July Weekend

We were so happy to be able to uphold our tradition of going to Denver for the Fourth of July holiday. This was our 5th year in a row and we certainly hope this is a tradition that will last for a long time. We had so much fun hanging out with family and friends. We were lucky to be able to get royal treatment at Aunt Kelley & Uncle Pat's house as well as Emilie & Dave's house. We also had a wonderful car to cruise around in thanks to Pat. Thanks to all of you! When we arrived we were surprised to find out that our cousin Mechelle was in town from San Antonio. We had a nice get together to catch up with her. Grandma came into town the next day to join in on all the Denver fun. Emilie hosted a delicious BBQ at her house one night and we had a wonderful afternoon with the Cindric clan. I am bummed I didn't get any pictures! It was so nice to see ya Mr. & Mrs. C. and Kate. Elise had some very looong days while we were there but she hung in there because it was nonstop fun with all the Sullivan cousins. Thanks to Olivia, Conor, John Patrick, Josie, Charlie, Mary and Stella for being so kind to Elise. She loves you all!

Our trip ended with a festive 4th of July. We went to a neighborhood party, delicious bbq hosted by Aunt Kelley, and finished the night off with fire works.  Elise was so exhausted she barely made it through the fireworks.  What a wonderful weekend!

Can't wait until next year!

Moving On!

Thank goodness that Greg bought this place 5 years ago.  And...thank goodness he went for a run in the neighborhood to see what was around. He stumbled upon the coffee shop and met my cousin Carrie, who eventually introduced us.  We will always remember that this is the place is where we started off our life together.  We will always remember that this was Elise's first home.
It holds many happy memories and will be missed.

But...we are moving on!

Moving on to the house that Elise and her little bro will grow up in.  We couldn't be more happy to start making new memories as a family here.
