Ellie and Patchy can fight with the best of them. They get on each other's nerves. Ellie screams her head off at him and he does what he can do to push her buttons to get to that point. But lately, I have been enjoying all of the love they have been giving each other. The best sound in the world is hearing them laugh and play together. I've been catching them snuggling on the couch, or chatting while they take care of business on the potty and having a lot of fun together quite often lately. The other night, Ellie slept in Patchy's bed with him and they came out in the morning holding hands as happy as can be!

Ellie's First BFF
These two gals know how to have fun. Ellie has a new friend and they hit it off so quickly. In the Fall, Riley went to preschool on Tues and Thurs and Ellie went on Mon, Wed, Fri so they had never met until they both started going everyday in January. Riley now comes to our house a few times a week and they are just so cute together. Ellie does make a point to say that Riley is her best friend but Mia is her very best friend.

11 months
Quinn is on the move at 11 months. She is walking pretty much everywhere. She is so happy walking around. She is smiling more than ever! She is sleeping better at night now that her top two teeth have popped through. She is starting to get a bit more picky with food and if she doesn't like something, she just throws it to the ground. When she is tired and she is walking and falls she just sort of gives up and lays there with her head on the ground. Unfortunately, she loves the toilet, just like Patchy did. She makes a beeline to the bathroom if the door is open and crawls right up to the toilet and starts flushing away. She loves to play peek a boo. She also loves to be outside. But, when she is outside she tries to eat everything. Sand, woodchips, rubber mulch, and dirt are her favorites. She will look right at you and throw a bunch of dirt in her mouth. Then she goes back for more. Ellie did this as well, so I am hoping it is a phase that passes by quickly. She started throwing up at the end of January every few days and we finally took her to the doctor after a few weeks. After some blood work, she was diagnosed with acid reflux and is now on medication. She knows how to work a peek a boo Sesame Street App on the IPad. She loves messing around with Patchy and Ellie. We can start to see her little stinker personality coming out and it is so funny!! She isn't saying any words yet, but she is certainly loud. I can't believe that she is going to be 1 in a month. Our baby is growing up way too fast!!
