Cheer Camp with Chloe

Ellie went to a cheer clinic at Chloe's high school and was able to cheer at a Friday night football game along side of Chloe. It is not surprising that Ellie soaked it all up. She loved being out there and threw her own leg kicks, straddle jumps and even did a back bend kick over after the half time show.

Patchy Starts Preschool

Patchy had a little home visit from his new teacher last week. Teacher Linda came to meet Patchy and read him stories and get him all pumped up for his new school. Patchy didn't really need to be pumped up because he was already so very excited. He had a countdown the days chain link going. I think having Elise in school has helped Patchy feel ready. I am so excited for this little guy. His preschool sounds like it is going to be so much fun!
Patchy's first day of preschool was a success. The whole family dropped him off in his classroom. I think Ellie was a bit jealous of his fun preschool. She was happy for him. She put her arm around him and said, "I sure hope you have a good day, bud." He was in heaven with a busy classroom filled with pretend play and crafts and a big playground outside. When we picked him up he was all smiles. He told us that he never wanted to change schools. He said he talked a lot and wasn't shy and that he was a big kid. Everything was his favorite thing!! He has a little guinea pig named Cutie in his classroom. He was just so happy. Our little buddy is growing up!

Flagstaff

We went up to Flagstaff this weekend to get out of the heat and celebrate Mia's 7th birthday. This year we went with 4 of our favorite families. We call all of these kiddos our cousin friends because they have all known each other since they were babies. We stayed at a really fun KOA in a and slept in a teepee. The KOA had a fun playground, bouncy house, game center, pancake breakfast and a nature trail. Auntie Angie planned a scavenger hunt and had a pinata for the kids. They all had so much fun!!! I can't believe Mia is already 7.
