Future Talents?

Ellie has been tapping up a storm lately. On this particular day she did it for about an hour. This routine is to the song "Snuggle Puppy".

Ellie and daddy turned a box into a TV. Ellie decided she was a newscaster and reported some good and bad news. She took her job very seriously! =)

Trone Family Pictures

When we were in Maryland we had the opportunity to take Trone Family Photos. It is so rare that we are all together and I am sure that these are pictures we will always treasure!

Preschool!

Ellie started her first year of official preschool. She is going to Wilkins Learning Center two days a week. We celebrated her first day of school with a big root beer float with some fellow new preschool friends. I think she really likes it. She is always full of stories when I pick her up. Although, there are times that she complains about going and asks if she is going to have to do all of those crafts. Or she says, "Really Mom, do I have to go again?" If this is her attitude about school....we are in trouble! Thank goodness she always has a smile on her face when I pick her up.

Gymnastics

Ellie continues to love doing gymnastics. She has almost mastered the cartwheel and can walk up the wall and do a pull over on the bars all by her self. She tells her teacher that she wants "0% help". She goes to a gym called Gold Medal Gymnastics which is owned by Amanda Borden who was part of the 1996 gold medal gymnastics team. We go to open gym a lot and Patchy has the chance to go out there and do his tricks. This session, we signed Patrick up for a Mommy and me class during Ellie's class because he was getting jealous of watching Ellie bounce and jump around out there. He is doing good ....when he follows the teacher. But, since he is used to being able to round around like crazy at open gym that is pretty much what he does during class. He certainly loves it!

Almost a bike rider!

Ellie has been spending some time outside over the hot summer trying to ride her bike without the training wheels. She is able to ride across the backyard in the comfort of the grass. As soon as the weather cools off a bit and we can practice more, I think she will take off on the sidewalk. She is very proud!

 

Mia's Birthday

We went to Jambo park to celebrate Mia's 5th birthday. She also had a super fun princess tea party birthday party at her house to celebrate the big day. Mia is such a sweet little girl. Ellie absolutely loves her best friend.
