Elise's Last Weekend as the Only

We wanted Elise's last weekend sibling free to be full of fun. Especially since we knew she would be cooped up in the house for a while after baby brother was born. We went to a special park where she was able to run free up and down some hills, climb on a climbing wall, swing on the tire swing, and push her baby stroller around.  We let her have donuts. We went to the zoo to visit Dora and sample some new Fisher Price Toys. We cheered on the Sun Devils. She got to open up early birthday presents from Mommom and Poppy. We finished painting the beautiful tree in her room that Auntie Angie drew for us.  It was a full weekend but well worth it! As the big day approached Elise was talking more and more about brother. She loved to go to the doctor and hear brother. She liked to sing or scream at my belly. She would also put her hands on my belly and say "push push." One day when we were out and about there was a mom with a little baby and Ellie said "Oh Mom, there is brother."  I just know she is going to be a great big sis.
