36 Weeks

Well another great visit to the OB today. Karen is dilated 1 cm, the head is down, but the baby has not started to descend, so it looks like she is gonna make it past 37 weeks. All is just great here.

I am especially appreciative of Karen after today's doctor visit. There were 2 ladies in the waiting room who seemed to be complaining just for the sake of hearing themselves complain. Karen, although I know she is very uncomfortable at times, just doesn't complain. She says she is lucky to have had such a good pregnancy, but I am the one who is lucky, because I have her.

We are getting more excited all the time, we are feeling ready, and can't wait to meet baby Trone. It won't be long now. We will keep you all updated. More pictures coming up soon.

35 Weeks

35 Weeks

Less than 2 weeks to "full term" & less than 5 weeks to the due date.

We are so excited!

We have been to both of our classes at the hospital and know what to do on the big day now.

Karen feels good looks great, the doctor just loves her belly.

He says she has the best belly he has ever seen & I agree.

The BOB Running Stroller!

REI had them on sale for 20% off and we had some gift cards (Thanks Pat & Kesa & Jenn) so we couldn't resist. We are officially excited soon to be parents given how much fun we have buying stuff and getting ready. We can't wait to meet our little one and take them for a run.

32 Weeks & Lookin Good!

5 more weeks and the baby is considered full term! Less than 2months til the due date.

We are waiting for it to start cooling off here in the Valley of the Sun, but Karen seems to be doing great. She has a little swelling in her ankles and the wedding rings are definitely not coming off, but the check ups at the OB continue to go very smooth.

The baby has really been moving lately and you can see it move just watching Karen's belly. It seems as though we may have a little gymnast on the way. The nursery is ready and we have so many hand me downs from friends and family that all we need now is a baby. We have really narrowed down our name lists but we continue to hear that we may change our minds as soon as we see him or her.

We will see some of you soon at the baby shower and others of you after the baby arrives and we can't wait. We are thinking about you all and hope that you are as happy and healthy as we are.

Flagstaff

This weekend Greg and I went up to Flagstaff with Angie, Mike and Maria for the Flagstaff Big Brothers Big Sisters 1/2 Marathon and 5K. It was a great weekend with perfect weather to help us escape the heat. Greg, Angie and Mike all did an awesome job running a very hilly 1/2 marathon and I walked the 5K. Here are some pictures from the race.

I was so proud of Greg. He did great! The rest of the weekend we had so much fun relaxing at a beautiful condo on a golf course. We ate out at our favorite Flagstaff Brewerys, went to parks and crawled around on the golf course grass with Maria.

29 Weeks in the Nursery
