We loved Belleview Park. You could spend a lot of time there because it has a petting zoo, a train, and a shallow creek the kids can play in. This park is definitely on our list for next year because we didn't even have time to play in the creek!
Elise, you looooved Tiny Town. This little place is full of buildings that was just your size. You took your time looking in the window of each and every building in Tiny Town. You even climbed up on some balconies. Tiny Town also had a wonderful train ride that went through the town and along the mountain.
We had tons of fun with the Sullivan family. We enjoyed some great meals in and out with them. Elise and Patrick really enjoyed time spent with Olivia and Conor. These two kiddos are great. We had a fun evening at their house watching them fly down the driveway in their bikes. We went swimming. We met Kesa and the kiddos at a concert at a park and the kids ran around and played with a bunch of toys they brought in a big truck and listened to music. Each family also got a kite which Greg and Elise had fun with later. The last week we met them for a fun lunch at Denver eats downtown near the capital.
There were a few days during our trip where we just needed to lay low and take a break. You kiddos loved those days just as much. Elise, you called our house the Colorado house. Everytime we were out and coming back, you always said that you wanted to go to the Colorado house. You liked going for short bike rides, playing around in the house, taking long baths, playing monsters, ghosts and foxes in the basement, watching Madeline and Alice, watching out the window on rainy days.
