A Little Family Vacation

We just finished our month in Denver.
(this might be the longest post ever)
It was nice to be able to spend time with our Denver family and friends.  Elise was loving the extra attention and the entertainment from all the kiddos.
We loved having our visitors...Mommom and Poppy, Uncle Mike, Katie, Grandma and the Newman family from Oklahoma. It was fun to be able to share some of our vacation with them.

We spent one morning at the Denver Children's Museum with Kesa, Olivia and Conor. Thank You Kesa for the free passes.

We went for a day trip up to the mountains for a BBQ and relaxation.  It ended up being cut short because a storm blew in but we moved our gathering back to Denver and Uncle Pat's backyard. It was such a fun day!

We spent one day at Bear Creek Lake.  They had great trails around so Greg and I took turns mountain biking and then we cooled off in the lake.  It was Elise's first time in a lake and sand.

There was a very cool sunken park that we went to with Kelley and her kids.  This park was full of fun things for kids of all ages: sandboxes, climbing wall, boulders, tree house, wilderness walk and it had a nice big splash area at the top.

Greg did some mountain and road biking and one morning he and Pat were able to get out to hike the fourteeners Grays and Torreys.

We went up to Boulder on a few occasions. Once so Greg could get a mountain bike in at Walker Ranch. We also went on a short little hike and walked down Pearl Street with the Newman family.

Fourth of July is always a great time with a BBQ over at Uncle Pat and Aunt Kelley's.  We didn't get to see the fireworks because little miss Elise was exhausted from all the partying.

Elise became quite a cultured little girl. She not only went to the zoo and the museum we also took her to the aquarium. Her legs constantly kicking while in the moby and all her happy squeals showed she loved it.

Here is some more dressing up and fun with the Sullivan kids
we are
GRATEFUL
for every moment
